Heavens Above, Lake Tekapo
Heavens Above was captured on my 3rd visit to Lake Tekapo in New Zealand. I had envisioned this shot after returning from my 2nd visit, it was almost 2 years later that I was able to make this image happen. I planned and prepared, having to go during a different time in the year to get this shot. The last piece to the puzzle was to have the weather cooperate.
On my nightscape journey this location holds a special place for me, it was the place where I first clicked the shutter after the sun went down and I got to see the potential of what the camera could capture.
